Since its launch as a small community of practice at the Department for Media and Culture Studies at Utrecht University, the Gamelab is increasingly collaborating with other Gamelabs as well as societal partners for projects involving game (co-)design.

Collaborations with the Gamelab Konstanz include the summer school “Social Gaming” (2022) as well as hybrid workshops.
Cologne Game Lab (Germany)
Collaborations with the Cologne Game Lab include the Utrecht Summer School “Ecogames” (2022) and the Horizon Europe project STRATEGIES.
WUR Game Hub (Netherlands)
We collaborate with the WUR Game Hub at Wageningen University via co-taught course sessions and workshops as well as the USO project Crisis to Resilience.
