Nieske Vergunst is public engagement & science communication consultant. She I works on various projects to further improve external communications at the Faculty of Science. This includes getting more and better insight into the impact of our communication efforts, developing and embedding support for public engagement within the faculty, and strenghtening the connections between science communication research and practice.

Sea level game creates climate awareness among young people

Can a board game help young people better understand sea level rise? Over the past two years, Nieske Vergunst, a researcher at Utrecht University’s Freudenthal Institute, explored this question.
